T-Ball Time

Our very first micro t-ball practice... he is not so much a fan of playing catch, but when we got to the batting and running the bases he was all for it!!! We did have storms that night though, so got cut 15 mins early. In Addox words, "I wish I could do that all night!"

Our first bowling trip!! Add had a lot of fun, and I did, too! Nothing is more fun than experiencing things with him, he finds such joy in everything. It cracked me up because the ball would barely reach the pins... but always would at least knock a couple down! At one point he even got a spare!! Go Addox!

Great Start to Our Summer

First summer trip to the "big park" (Riggs Park)... was a bit muddy under the swings, but it was worth it!! After all, what is a summer without muddy shoes and knees??

Spaceship Saturday

Addox loves spaceships and astronauts, so our impromptu trip to the cosmosphere was an awesome idea (credit to jason). i could tell that it was hard for Addox to wrap his head around the idea that what he sees on tv and his posters is what he saw there, because it is so much bigger in real life. it will be fun to see his comprehension grow as he gets older, because we definitely will be going back again! his "this is cool!" every so often, and "i want to show you this!" was very nice to hear. loving this age because he can enjoy and remember activities like this. we also did the imax show which was a lot of fun, what a relaxing saturday!!

Mama's Day

Other than Addox birthday I think this is my favorite holiday. Get to celebrate my precious baby... This year was the first time he really knew what it meant and "picked out" my presents, or made them. My favorite is the wonderful pot I have sitting on my porch. My own awesome mother had him plant whatever plants he wanted... he chose two marigolds, and one full-size tomato plant!! At the moment they are living happily in one pot... later, not so sure! I do know we both will be thrilled if it produces even one tomato! I am sure that later Mama's days will be awesome... but this one is my favorite so far!
