although our first one had to be thrown out yesterday, the other two are hanging in there. addox makes me light them everyday, at least once. :)

Pumpkin Cake- Bread

jason decided to make his pumpkin cake-bread (what it is called depends on who you are talking to), and boy were we glad he did. addox had a blast, i was just thrilled that i wasn't the one making anything, and it was YUMMY. fantastic!!!!!

add was very careful about his stirring, i was most impressed.

jason was careful, too. btw, that is add sticking his finger in the bowl.

don't judge, you know you do it, too.

like i said, it was really good.

pumpkin patch

a friend recommended a wonderfully amazing pumpkin patch called Walter's. a 30 minute drive, but so very worth it!! this fall family was in heaven... addox is begging to go back.

we had such a wonderful day. addox says his favorites were the barrel train, and a slide that went through a hill that he and jason went on. unfortunately, my pics of that one didn't turn out. will just have to get some next year!!! :) <3

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho... Off to the Snow We GO!!!!

our mountain house trip this month was unlike any other so far... we went on the perfect weekend because we got to experience the first snow!! nowhere better to catch snowflakes on your tongue than colorado, we had SO much fun!!!!!!! it was absolutely gorgeous, and i feel SO blessed. it is awesome to see addox experience it all. i am overcome with thankfulness. <3

fall is at our house!!!

my all-time favorite time of the year is fall... i love everything about it. weather is absolutely perfect and fresh, spending so much time outside, and of course, decorating for it! addox got into the decorating this year as well, these are a few of our favorites... isn't she adorable? or in addox words "that's a cool witch!"

from morning to night.... fall is at our house!

what i REALLY do at bedtime...

so one night, for some reason, addox mayhem was wide awake after bedtime. for 3 hours. the time these pics were taken- 11pm. he goes to bed at 830. we of course knew he was awake, we could hear him reading and playing in bed. around 11, we thought maybe he was asleep because it had got quiet.

but no, he had taken out his stickers and very carefully decorated his chest. when he got his dog bite a couple weeks ago i had cut a night-night shirt so it wouldn't hit his bite. this was very handy for his sticker-decorating. yes, i did play with him and got decorated myself, because we were all still awake, might as well. jason played camera-man.

and finally, at 1120, he fell asleep. on the floor.

and so our story begins... have to read the "ections..."

we have a new green friend... not yet named... but already a big hit with addox. he is a dinosaur, and supposed to grow each day and reach his potential size by day ten. add read the "ections" very carefully, dropped him in, and then wanted to throw the other two in that came in the pack as well. after some debate, we decided to just grow our one right now.
