meet the mountain house fox

hi beautiful baby!

reunited and it feels so good....

when jason lived in CO (pre-j&addox) he had his friend the fox.
he fed it, & it got to where the fox would eat out of his hand.
seriously how cool is that?!
since we have started going out there together (2 1/2 yrs) we have never seen him.

until this past weekend.
i was getting ready to get in the shower and jason comes busting in the bathroom and scares the you-know-what out of me.
fox is back!
and he likes pizza.
so i run out and start taking pictures while telling the fox how much we love him (her?) and am so happy he is back.
poor quality pics, sorry, i was excited.

seriously the cutest fox that ever lived.
addox was standing at the door watching him and dancing, fox just sat on the rail & looked at him for awhile.
i hope we see him again.

my first vintage piece of clothing, bought at AWESOME re-runs in KC.

i've always dug the vintage vibe.
i hate wearing what everyone else is wearing.
i'm not normal.
i like wearing unique pieces.
and i'm cheap.
(the skirt was $6.)

i haven't ever found any shops in wichita.
going through thrift stores you have a chance at finding some, but it takes time that i usually don't have.
so KC was like heaven.
we had a blast.
my bestie ended up getting a fabulous belt buckle there and a dress that i can't wait to see w/ a big 'ol red belt.
i can't wait to go back.
they have a warehouse that is open on saturdays, we are making a day trip very soon!

today was mop day, and i thought it was blog-worthy.
not that it is a rare occurrence (right?...ummm), but because i think addox is the cutest helper there is.
including the sticker in the middle oh his forehead.
and i also love that he can use his imagination no matter what we are doing.
he played in his tent most of the day.

i think he looks like an speed skater.

chairs make a great race car.

and an awesome tent.

we had a great time easter day... hope everyone else did, as well!

dying easter eggs

jason & i don't agree on the issue of displaying the eggs.
i believe that i should be able to display them, that is why we COLOR them, right?
to SEE them?
well, he says that is wasting food.
so he shoved them in the fridge.
where we cannot SEE them.
so why color them?
boo.
he did give me "permission" to take them out for 15 mins at a time to look at.
how kind of him.

i did give them their 5 mins of fame.
